Version 2.3 · effective 26 October 2026

What changed from version 2.2: How long we keep it says that some records have no period decided yet.

GetSrvd provides software to service businesses — plumbers, electricians, cleaners and similar trades. When you book a job, request a quote, or receive an invoice from a business that uses GetSrvd, we handle your information on that business's behalf.

Text messages and your mobile number

Mobile numbers and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. GetSrvd may text only on its own behalf, about a demo you asked it for. Its demo request form is here.

GetSrvd will text only people who agreed, by ticking a box that is never ticked for them and is never required. The exact words are on our text message consent page.

If you agree to receive text messages, here is what that means:

A business that uses GetSrvd and texts its own customers does so under its own registration.

What else we hold

To do the job, we hold your name, contact details, the address where work is carried out, and what was discussed and agreed. Some periods from the retention schedule, and how to ask about any other, are under How long we keep it. A business may also record a payment you made against one of its invoices; what is and is not set for that record is under How long we keep it.

If you sign in to GetSrvd

The paragraphs above are about you as a customer of a trade business. This one is about the owner or a member of staff who signs in to GetSrvd itself, which is a different thing and holds different information.

When someone signs in we hold their email address and a scrambled form of their password, from which the password itself cannot be read. We never hold the password.

Every sign-in at a business we hold is recorded, and so is every wrong password tried at one — with the internet address it came from and what browser was used. That is to keep the account secure, and so there is a record if something goes wrong. While someone is signed in their browser holds a session, which we record with the same two details.

None of this is used for advertising, sold, or shared with anyone else.

How long we keep it.

A session ends after twelve hours whatever happens, and sooner if it has sat unused for an hour; after that it cannot be used again. That part is running today.

Some periods from GetSrvd’s retention schedule follow. Other records have periods of their own in the schedule, or none decided yet; to ask about one, write to hello@getsrvd.com. Older records are kept; they are not deleted automatically. No routine clears records on the schedule today, and there is no way yet to delete a business that uses GetSrvd.
